Yes. The Wildlife Management Advisory Commission is in the process of preparing a survey for distribution to all Garden Ridge residents. The purpose of the survey is to gather the varied opinions of residents in order to establish a plan for wildlife that is most acceptable to the concerns of as many residents as possible.
The City of Garden Ridge and the Wildlife Management Advisory Commission will be working with Texas Parks and Wildlife regarding census counts, management guidelines, education and possible legislative changes regarding the management of deer and other wildlife.
