Human Resources supports the City of Garden Ridge’s efforts to attract, develop and retain a diverse, qualified and productive workforce to provide outstanding services to our residents.

  • 125 Plan Administrator

  • Coordinates annual open enrollment and payroll changes

The Finance Department is responsible for safeguarding the assets of the City of Garden Ridge. Finance assists the City Administrator with the responsibility of fiscal management of the City's funds.

Responsible for the following areas:

  • Management or debt service and fixed assets
  • Payroll & W2s
  • Preparation of Annual budget, audit and Certified Annual Financial Report
  • Account Payable & Receivables
  • Monthly financial reports for City Administrator, City Council and all City departments
  • 1099s, monthly bank reconciliations & investment reports
