IN February

Regular Events

Adult Game Night: The first Monday of each month features games for adults, 6:00-9:00 pm.  February 4, 2019

Mondays:  PAWS-i-tive Reading:  Shiraz, the trained dog will be back January 7:  Each Monday, 3-5 PM.  Be sure to have your animal-loving children sign up.

Tuesdays: Northside Knitters bring their own handwork and enjoy each other's company while they work @ 10:00 am.

Tuesdays after school: Lego Robotics @ 3:30-4:30 PM and 6:00-7:00 PM.  Call to Register, as spaces are limited.

Card-Making Class - held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month @ 1:00 pm.  The finished products are works of art and are sure to be heirlooms.  February 19

Thursdays: Adult Coloring and Water Coloring, 1:00 pm.  This is a great time to relax and visit with other Colorists while nurturing your creative side.  (You don't have to stay in the lines!)  

Fridays: Storytime happens every Friday at 10:30 am.  Children will enjoy the stories, songs, games and crafts. 

Stay and Play, immediately following Storytime.  The children can play and explore while the parents and grandparents can socialize.

Pokemon Club:  Meets every second Saturday from 10:00-12:00 noon. February 9

First Friday Family Night, February 1, 6:00-8:00 pm  This will be a Star-Gazing Party!                            Please bring a smart phone to download a programs which allows you to see planets, stars and constellations - even if it's overcast.  We will hear an astronaut read a book from space, have a "star hunt," and eat moon pies.

Lunch-n-Learns:  

     February 20, 12:00 Noon,  "Instant Pot, International Cuisine."  There will be an Encore Presentation Saturday 23 @ 11:00 AM  There is a $5 fee to cover the cost of food.  Must Register     

     February 27, 12:00 Noon, "Rain Gardens."  Want to know about ways to slow erosion on your property while capturing as much of that water as you can to help your yard?  Come learn about how to build a rain garden ad what the benefits are.  Presented by Troy Luepke of Texas A & M Agri-Life.
