Special Events

NOTICE:  Activities on Hiatus

First Friday Family Night: This wonderful activity is on hiatus until August 3.  On that night we will have an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social, along with a back-to-school evening with games from Mathnasium.

PAWS-i-tive Reading:  Shiraz, a beautiful golden doodle, is also on hiatus until September.  Be sure to have your animal-loving children sign up then.

Adult Coloring is the third item on hiatus during the summer.  See you back in September.

Card-Making with Teresa class is held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month @ 1:00 pm.  The finished products are works of art and are sure to be heirlooms.

Adult Game Night: Held every first Monday from 6-9 pm.

Pokemon Club:  Meets every second Saturday from 10:00-12:00 noon.


Stuffed Animal Sleepover: On June 22, children are encouraged to bring their bravest stuffed animal to have a sleepover in the library.  Only the animal will stay over and the children will pick up their "Stuffy" on Saturday, June 23 at a breakfast.  Children will get an email with pictures of what Stuffy did at the Library!


June 20 @ noon, Doreen Cook will present a cooking class with Instant Pot Cookery.  She will make breakfast, lunch and dinner - with samples for everyone.  

Mondays:  Story time and craft time for grades K-3 @ 1:00 pm                                                                                                  Mad about Science for grades 4 and up @ 2:15 pm

Tuesdays: Northside Knitters bring their own handwork and enjoy each other's company while they work @ 10:00 am.

Tuesdays and Thursdays: Free time with Lego Robotics, 10 am - 4 pm

Wednesdays: Home-school Hangout, 10 am - noon Various activities of art and science experiments

Storytime happens every Friday at 10:30 am.  Children will enjoy the stories, songs, games and crafts.  

Special Classes:  A Sewing Class will be offered for beginners June 21 & June 28 @ 10:00 am.  Please register.  If there is more interest, more classes will be offered in July.
