Policy Prohibiting Racial Profiling

Racial Profiling Prohibited

The Garden Ridge Police Department has established a policy, General Order 507, prohibiting racial profiling as set out by State and Federal laws. All racial profiling is strictly prohibited. The Department will investigate all allegations of discrimination and take appropriate action.

The Garden Ridge Police Department currently employs 13 Certified Police Officers, ranging from Patrol Officer to the Chief of Police. The Police Department is fully equipped to handle any type of call and investigation 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

There are several different means available to the public to reach an officer. Normal business hours for Police Administration are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm (excluding holidays). The Garden Ridge Police Department is located at 9400 Municipal Parkway, Garden Ridge Texas 78266.

Garden Ridge Police Officer’s are dispatched by the Comal County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division. If there is an EMERGENCY dial 911, and explain the situation to the dispatcher. Information will be relayed to the Officers on duty. Any Non-Emergency: call the Garden Ridge Police Department at (210) 651-6441, during regular business hours. After 5:00 pm you can call (830) 609-3921 (metro).
