New Audio Books on CD
In the spirit of trying to update our technology, the library has just bought 17 new audio books on CD. These are wonderful companions, making the miles on a trip seem shorter or housework go faster. If you have any books on CD which you would like to donate, we would be very happy to have them. Moreover, some of our audio book users will be thrilled. We also need to add to our DVD collection, so if there are some movies you could share with the community, it would be greatly appreciated. (Unfortunately, we no longer accept VHS tapes.)
A gentle reminder when donating is to take a good look at the books, CDs or DVDs you are giving to be sure they are clean and presentable. Ask yourself, are they something that you would be proud to see on the city’s library shelves? If anyone is remodeling and would like to donate a working microwave or dorm fridge, the library has need of those items as well. As always, thank you to a very generous and caring community.
